Matcha enjoyment of the highest class – directly from Japan!

Our organic matcha is a true highlight for all fans of the green extract. It comes from one of Japan's most renowned tea farmers – and you can taste it: intensely green, pleasantly sweet, super creamy, and with a wonderfully full umami flavor. No bitterness.

What makes it so special? Matcha is made from the first flush—the very best, tender tea leaves, hand-picked in spring. It is then traditionally ground on granite stone mills—slowly, gently, and superfinely, to preserve all its valuable ingredients.

How to enjoy it best

Purely pure—either as Koicha (very strong and intense with 2.5 grams of matcha and 40 ml of water), as Usucha (slightly milder with about 200 ml of water), or as a Matcha Latte. You decide how you like it best.

Our recipe for Matcha Latte from the Günter Coffee Store is as follows:

We take a glass with a capacity of about 320 ml,
add 2.5 grams of matcha powder and
Now pour 40 grams of hot water at 60 °C.
Then we beat the mixture with zigzag movements and
Fill the glass with foamed milk (oat or cow).

Also delicious are dirty matcha with a shot of espresso or matcha tonic with ice cubes. To make it, prepare the matcha as described in steps 1 to 3, then pour it into a new glass, adding ice cubes, and then top with tonic water.

We currently ship EU-wide, with the exception of Austria and France. This is due to laws that put small retailers at a disadvantage and make shipping uneconomical. Shipping is handled by DHL and DPD and CO2 is partly compensated by DHL GoGreen. Part of the shipping costs goes to climate protection projects to offset the CO2 emissions. The following conditions apply.

Shipping costs of €15 per order up to 2 kg
€30 from 2 to 5 kg
Above that, shipping will only take place by arrangement

Terms and conditions for vouchers

Our vouchers will be sent by mail directly after receipt of payment. There are no shipping costs involved.

Delivery times

Unless otherwise stated in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered within 3-5 days (Germany) after conclusion of the contract (in case of agreed advance payment after the date of your payment instruction). The delivery time to other EU countries can be up to 8 days.

Self-collectors can pick up their order on Fridays from 10:00-17:00 at Merianstraße 8, Freiburg, Germany.
Orders must be received by 23:59 on Wednesday of the same week at the latest. All later orders are only ready for collection on Fridays in the following week.

Please note that there is no delivery on Sundays and public holidays. If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one shipment, unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item with the longest delivery time that you ordered.
