Our Ethiopia Idido is fruity-floral, with notes of raspberry, peach and rose water.
The green coffee comes from many very small farms in Ethiopia and is naturally processed in the cooperatively operated Idido Washing Station . The Idido cooperative operates the washing station at an altitude of around 2000 meters. The average cultivated area per farm is less than one hectare of land . It is therefore not worth having your own system for processing the green coffee. In the Idido cooperative, workers sort and weigh the harvest from the individual farms in order to pay the farmers and then collect the coffee cherries and process them further.
The cherries of the landrace varieties come together here after ripening in areas between 1850-1880 meters above sea level. We import the Ethiopian green coffee through our partner Cafe Imports Europe . Our precise roasting is particularly suitable for filter coffee. It promotes the taste nuances of the varieties and the growing region and thus ensures an exciting, juicy and at the same time elegant, tea-like coffee taste.
