Both producers have a long family tradition of coffee cultivation. Before the Fazenda was founded in 1939, patriarch João Ferreira Carneiro already cultivated coffee on the land in the 19th century. Since then, the farm has developed into one of Brazil's \u003cstrong\u003emost renowned specialty coffee farms\u003c\/strong\u003e. Gabriel and Elisa won the Cup of Excellence tasting competition in 2016 and have placed among the top 5 twice in the Coffee of the Year competition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Arabica coffee of the \u003cstrong\u003ePink Bourbon\u003c\/strong\u003e variety is grown at 1050 meters, processed as \u003cstrong\u003eHoney\u003c\/strong\u003e, and then dried on African beds under the sun. It reaches us via \u003cstrong\u003eLuis and Niklas from Ocafi\u003c\/strong\u003e, with whom we have been working for over four years.
